Denn jeder einzelne hat die kommunalen-kulturellen Entwicklungen selbst in der Hand.

Ab jetzt findet ihr alles zu einem Thema zusammengefasst in einer Gruppe.
Wir haben die Tage der Link-Listen hinter uns gelassen.
Das Netz verändert sich ständig, Link-Sammlungen haben ausgedient.

Heute will man mit anderen zusammen über ein Thema schreiben und wenn Bedarf ist auch ein Link, Video, Bild, Musik usw. mit einbinden. Ganz einfach Artikel schreiben, und das viel interaktiver als gewohnt: das Bloggen in Gruppen ist da.

Jeder kann sich beteiligen, und die eigene Meinung ist dabei der Hauptpunkt. Nicht der Link.
So kann man jetzt direkt in einem Thema neue Artikel gemeinsam mit anderen schreiben.

Außerdem findet man durch die neue Themenaufteilung alle Artikel zu einem Thema an einer Stelle.

Wenn ich nach Dubstep suche, gehe ich in das Thema Dubstep und habe alle Dubstep Beiträge mit Videos, Radios, Musik, Events und Bildern an einem Fleck.
 

Mediagallerien: Bilder, Videos und Musik

Ab jetzt kannst du deine Bilder, Videos und Musik direkt in deinen Gruppen und Veranstaltungen hinzufügen.
Natürlich werden deine Gruppen- und Event-Photos auch in deinem Profil gelistet.

Du kannst Media-Gallerien in deinem Profil komfortabel verwalten.

Auch über deine Privatsphäre haben wir dabei nachgedacht.
Es ist dir möglich bei jeder Galerie oder einzelnem Photo/Musik/Video zu entscheiden, wer es sehen kann. Alle, nur deine Freunde, oder nur einzelne Personen.
 

Deine Privatsphäre ist uns wirklich wichtig.

Du entscheidest, wieviel du von dir preisgibst.
Zu jedem Eintrag in deinem Profil hast du ein Auswahlfeld, in dem du entscheiden kannst, wer diese Information sehen darf.

Genau so verhält es sich mit deinen Medien (Bilder/Videos/Musik), deinen Gruppen und Events.
Erstelle deinen Inhalt und entscheide ob er öffentlich ist, nur für deine Freunde oder ganz privat.

Anders als bei anderen großen sozialen Netzwerken, werden alle deine Daten/Medien, die du in Gruppen-Events oder irgendwo auf der Seite zur Verfügung gestellt hast, in deinem Profil gesammelt, so dass du immer sehen kannst was du an Daten veröffentlicht hast.

Solltest du irgendwann keine Lust mehr haben auf Rheinrauschen und dein Profil löschen, behalten wir nicht einfach deine Medien und Daten.

Alles wird wirklich rigoros gelöscht. Du bist dann weg, dein Profil, deine Bilder usw.

Integration zu anderen sozialen Netzwerken. Schreibe einmal, an alle.

Keine Lust noch ein Soziales Netzwerk zu pflegen?
Nutze dein Facebook Konto und melde dich über dein Facebook Account an.

Das ist ganz einfach und spart dir jede menge zeit. Du bestimmst was rheinrauschen synchronisieren darf, und kannst so ganz bequem dein Facebook Profiel und dein Rheinrauschen Pfofiel synchronisieren und aktuell halten.

Warum alles doppelt eintragen wenn es auch einfach geht.
Wenn du z.B. eine Veranstaltung bei Rheinrauschen veröffentlichst, wird sie automatisch auf der Rheinrauschen-Facebook-Seite veröffentlicht, und geht von da aus auch an hunderte, ja tausende in kürzester Zeit, ohne dass du dich weiter darum kümmern musst.

Nutze Rheinrauschen als dein sicheres Zuhause. Wir verkaufen deine Daten nicht und du entscheidest selber was die anderen sehen dürfen.

Rheinrauschen unterstützt im Moment Synchronisation mit Facebook, Twitter, Flickr und Youtube. Aber natürlich nur wenn du das möchtest. Nichts passiert hinter deinem Rücken.

With WPMU Plugin Manager you can have control over the installation of plugins, but not over the setup of the plugins. So you need to configure all the options and settings manually every time a blog is created. To get rid of this nasty work, Sven Lehnert and Sven Wagener developed the plugin Defalut Blog Options. This plugin gives you the possibility to define it just once.
 

Default Blog Options will copy your settings as default blog options into new created blogs automatically. Therefore, it uses one of your MU blogs as a default blog. All options you select from that default blog will be used for new blogs on your WPMU installation. After a new blog is created, the first time the dashboard is loaded, the options from the default blog will be copied into the new blog option table.
 

How to use

Just create a blog, install all the plugins on this blog you would like to run later on everey new blog. After you made all the needed configurations to your plugins and they work as they should, your work for this blog is done.
 

Now all you need to do is, go to the main site to admin/default-blog-options.
First you have to enter the blog ID of your default blog.
When done, you will be able to select the options you’d like to have in every new blog. Once you have all the options selected and saved, you are finished.

Every time a blog is created, the blogoptions are copied from the default blog like you selected before.

Die Überarbeitung der neuen Rheinrauschen Seite ist etwas ins Stocken gekommen, seitdem wir wie besessen an Themes und Plugins für WordPress und Buddypress sitzen und jetzt an den Pro Versionen. Geplant ist trotzdem Rheinrauschen diesen Winter ein neues Gesicht zu geben und funktionell auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen.

Das Design steht schon zu großen Teilen. Im Event Bereich und an der Startseite wird noch etwas gefeilt. Als letztes bleiben noch ein paar Knobelaufgaben übrig, dann ist es endlich soweit: Rheinrauschen kommt.

In den letzten Wochen wurden die Kategorien im Link-Verzeichnis komplett überarbeitet. Dieser Prozess ist immer noch nicht ganz abgeschlossen und wird mit dem nächsten Update Geschichte sein.

Der neue Kalender wurde ausgiebig getestet und wir haben schon eine große To-Do-Liste mit Verbesserungen für den Event-Bereich. Das Eintragen wird einfacher und der Kalender übersichtlicher.

Auch in der analogen Welt bewegt sich was: wir waren beim letzten Freiraum-Treffen und vernetzen uns in AGs. Die Ideen sprudeln, ein Strassenfest auf dem Lessing-Platz und die “Bilker Nacht” sind als nächstes in Planung.

Wir stürzen uns jetzt erstmal ins Update und melden uns dann wieder – mit der neuen Version von Rheinrauschen.

Rheinrauschen ist in der Halbzeit. Buddypress, die Plattform auf der die Community entwickelt wird, steckt auch noch in den Kinderschuhen. Nach einem explosionsartigen Schub in 2009 ist die Entwicklung der beiden Open-Source-Frameworks WordPress und Buddypress mit Spannung zu erwarten. Auch wir, die Entwickler von Rheinrauschen, haben einiges dazu gelernt was soziale Netzwerke betrifft, und freuen uns nach einer kreativen Lernpause jetzt wieder weiter zu entwickeln.

 
Wo gehts hin?
Als nächstes werden ein paar größere Änderungen im Medien-Verzeichnis und im Event-Kalender in Angriff genommen. Dann wird die Navigation nochmal vollständig überarbeitet. Auch am Design wird noch weiter gefeilt und die Seite wird noch viele kleine Features bekommen. Unsere eigentliche Planung wurde – wie bei Buddypress auch – um einiges nach hinten verschoben.
